The birds celebrated Spring

I regularly visit Hatchet Pond, and this Spring it was a joy to watch the birds circling and soaring above a little family of swans and cygnets. It felt like they were celebrating the season and welcoming in Spring.
It reminded me of how much Wolfy loved this time of year. Moments like these are so precious. I managed to capture several photos that day, and they became the inspiration for this painting back in the studio.
