Lost in the Forest

Whilst walking in the New Forest with a friend this Spring, we managed to get a little lost. As we found our way, we stumbled across a group of wild ponies, hidden among the trees and bathed in golden, dappled light.
It felt like a secret moment, quietly waiting to be discovered and I knew I had to paint it.
